Welcome Home Angel: Meet Rashaad
We at Herrington Homes are especially proud of our involvement with Welcome Home Angel, Inc., a Wilmington charitable organization that improves the lives of children with chronic and debilitating illnesses or injuries. This is done primarily by renovating the child's bedroom to create a fresh, cheerful and healing environment. Herrington Homes is using its building expertise to do that and more for Rashaad, a smiling 5-year-old who was born with cerebral palsy. We are not only giving his room a complete makeover but also making structural adjustments in the house to make it wheelchair friendly. We want Rashaad to smile, and we also want him to be more comfortable and independent in his own home.
