Every Herrington home is special and requires the hard work of many members of our team, as well as your participation in certain parts of the process;
- Pick home site, model, elevation and structural options and create “work-up” in our software system
- Sign lot hold agreement
- Obtain mortgage pre-approval
- Sign contract and submit deposit
- Design Center browse period and pre-selection process
- Contract ratification by Herrington Homes
- Herrington submits request to architect, landscape architect and site engineers for house and lot specific drawings
- Final design center selections, pre-construction meeting and low-voltage meeting to include: review of actual house plans, landscape plan, engineering site plan and verification that all final options are selected (No changes will be permitted after this meeting)
- Mortgage application made with final house price
- Homeowner signs-off on all final construction documents and incorporates in original contract
- Submission of final house plan package to the Autumn Hall Architectural Review Board for final approval
- Building permit application made
- Receipt of building permit
- Construction of home begins
- Periodic updates on construction progress
- Settlement date, time and location set (approximately 1 month prior to settlement date)
- Scheduling of 1st walk-through (approximately 1 week before settlement)
- Scheduling of 2nd walk-through (1 day before settlement)
- Utilities transfer to homeowner
